not much sleep in the house for the past few nights, between late night dark chocolate's revenge in visions of dismemberment, rot and death and mr poopermcfancypants' random whining to pee in the hallway. perhaps we'll have to resort to encapsulation tonight. i'd rather not, if we don't have to.

excited about a fantastic show p. will be jealous that i'm assisting with this weekend. (unemployed for more than a year now, i am paid in opportunities to dance. you'd call it nepotism, if you knew better.)

it seems i've just broken my backup drive - the one with all my backups on it - and i'm trying to patiently apply any fix that makes sense.
